David has been our minister since 1989 and with his wife Sandra and his two boys, Jason and Stuart, enjoys living in the Broadwater area (ten minute walk away from the church building) After a time working on his father's farm, he went to theological college in London (Spurgeon's) and then became the Pastor of a Baptist church in Portsmouth.
He is known around the area for often being on his pedal bike and over the last few years has kept the legs of a small group of equally mad people turning as they have done such trips as Land's End to John O'Groats, the ups and downs of North Wales and the Lake District.
David is heavily involved in the local schools and places where ordinary people meet and has encouraged the church to be a vital community within the wider society. He has enjoyed being the Chaplain to the Town Mayor and is also a part-time Chaplain at a Worthing hospital.
Sandra works part time giving her time for her passion - crafts and creativity at home and in worship and her family. She is usually very involved in the high points of the church year - Easter, Christmas and Harvest.
Jason their eldest son is presently at Southampton University reading law and Stuart enjoys his social life, drumming at church and fitting in trips to the local sixth form college where he is studying for his A levels.
